Beginning July 1, 2021 we are offering only limited services to selected patients. R. Daniel Bohl MD FACS and Brigid Bohl RN MSN CNS provided general urology care for patients in Edenton, Chowan County, and surrounding communities from March 1, 2009 until June 30, 2021. Our primary location is in the Historic Cotton Mill Office Building at 420 Elliott Street in Edenton.
Our new mission is to assist selected patients with simple problems, to help patients understand their urology condition, and to direct patients to physicians who will be able to provide quality care.
After 30 years of complex urology practice in Columbus, Ohio then 12 years of primary urology practice in Edenton, NC, I am now winding down my career. Currently, I am maintaining my medical license, credentials, and office; but my primary purpose is to aid most patients in a safe transition to a new provider. I am in my office for about 2 hours most mornings to respond to messages and calls. I will continue to offer some services to selected patients. There is a severe shortage of capable urology care in Eastern North Carolina, so patients with complicated urology needs will be best served by the highly capable teams of urologists at Urology of Virginia (Virginia Beach), Duke, or UNC.
